Ferris' Travel Adventures

Another fantastic vacation has come to an end. Not only was the place we visited, beautiful, the kids also stayed healthy for once! Can you believe it!? 😀 Now, a little about our trip.. We visited Glacier, Washington which is located in Northern Washington near the Canadian border. Have you heard of it? Neither did I, but I am sure glad we came upon this little mountain town. Our resort is located along the Nooksack Rover in an old growth forest. There is no cell phone coverage, so it felt completely serene to somewhat escape from the daily stressors that can come from cell phones and modern technology. We definitely recommend doing that from time to time. Our friends Matt and Angie came to join us the first couple days with Angie's daughter Haley. We played games, downed some Mt.Baker moonshine while all the kids played together. Later on Kasey's parents joined us after Matt and Angie had to head home.. Located in beautiful Crooked River, Oregon, these quaint cabins make a fun weekend getaway.  This is our third time here. This time it was not as relaxing since we had 2 sick kiddos, even with that, the scenery made it worth it. The kids played outside, especially golf and we also looked for wildlife. No luck this time though. We want to come back this summer in the warm weather and get a large cabin to take advantage of the swimming and golf, so hopefully we get to this summer!
