VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA
I am back!
After having another baby, I took sometime off from journaling about our travels.
This last weekend, my friends and I visited Victoria Canada for the first time
What a beautiful town! We rode on the ferry from Port Angeles, Washington.
It was a lovely 1.5 hour ride with a view of cute seals!
Just a warning, if you do get seasick, you may want to be prepared for that. It was a pretty rocky ride.
We stayed at the Huntingdon Manor, which was a cute, old-fashioned type of hotel. Great service and cute rooms! They are not large rooms, but perfect for a weekend getaway.
The hotel even has an afternoon tea option, which we did not get to try, but that is the goal next time we visit. I highly recommend this hotel as it is centrally located to everything in the city.
We enjoyed the nightlife and also had a delicious brunch at Jam. It was a huge wait, but if you have the time, GO. The food was well worth the wait!
We also got to enjoy Canada Day by watching fireworks at the Butchart Gardens and eat yummy traditional Canadian food at the food carts by the harbor.
If anything, 2 days was not enough and I would definitely stay for 4-5 to experience all Victoria has to offer.
